Two websites are all I have now, but getting them into the spotlight is quite a lot of work. I spend time writing articles to link back to my sites. I spend time replying to people’s blogs so they will link back to my site as well as come read my blog and hopefully comment too. I know of many ways that these link building strategies work. But they take a lot of time for the novice link builder. I want to try using some link building experts to get my pages up in PageRank as well as more visitors. I want better results on my webpages this time.
I have a few places to try and find a link building expert, but I want to try a low-cost method first. Maybe a smaller link building operation will give me what I am looking for. My goal is to have at least 50 new links per month. I have been able to get only 20 by the way I have been going thus far.
I write artices, I post on other people’s blogs, I start link building contests, I even made some myspace accounts to build links by. I also made a Squidoo page and some facebook pages too. I am currently trying more social networking and getting people interesting in learning about my pages. I think that people are the best link builders because they will give more links if they find your site useful.

Why can’t I get my favorite keyword to rank? I don’t know why its so tough. The reason it is so tough is because everyone wants to rank #1 for it and they can pay more than I can to get there. I think its unfair to rely on that method, but big social networks can tip the balance in favor of the deep pocket advertisers.
When I want to rank for a keyword, I ask a friend from the UK. He is an SEO Exeter master. He works out of his home but he is very skilled and profitable at it. I think he knows how to rank for anything.
I talked to him friday about ranking my name in the search engines and monday he got it done. That’s fast and skillful. I think I will take him out to lunch.

As far as I’m concerned SEO is all about links. The more links you have pointing at your site from another site holds far greater weight with the search engines than any other strategy. For example if you did a Google Attorney Search you would be faced with literally millions of website results. Now, naturally surfers tend to only look at the first two pages of Google before choosing a site that sounds appealing to them. So how do I know if the site is going to be beneficial to what I am looking for?
Well, the more people that are pointing to a site, generally the better the quality and more useful the site is. Of course you will get people buying links but that is not to say that their site isn’t good either. There will always be people who find a way to manipulate the search engines for their benefit. It’s just whether or not the engineers at Google and the likes are smart enough to catch on.

One of the biggest questions facing new website owners is ‘how do I increase targeted visitors to my website’? I thought I would take some time to explain in very simple terms how I increased the targeted visitors to my website from around 2,000 a month to approximately 20,000 unique visitors. Most of these techniques are very simple to put in place and just might help you increase your numbers. Let’s face it; if you’re serious about building an e-commerce business, then the first thing you are going to need is targeted visitors coming to your site.

According to John Scott, and others, PageRank still matters. PageRank has been the subject of discussion as of late, with some SEO types insisting that PageRank no longer matters. PageRank, while it may seem arbitrary and useless, is still indicative of linkage, which is one of the primary factors in determining ranking.
Matt Cutts, a Google Engineer, says:
By the time you see newer PageRanks in the toolbar, those values have already been incorporated in how we score/rank our search results. So while you may be happy to see that the Google Toolbar shows a little more PageRank for a given page, it’s not as if that causes a change in search results at that point. So you won’t see any search engine result page (SERP) changes as a result of this PageRank export–those changes have been gradually baking in since the last PageRank export.
So the little green bar you see on your Google Toolbar might not be quite worth obsessing about every minute of the day, it is indicative of other things going on with your site, mainly backlinks. The higher the number of backlinks, and the more quality sites these are from, the higher your PageRank is likely to be.
